An enclosed field for my dog
I have a dog. Her name is Oni.
I need (or she needs) an enclosed place where to she can go out alone.

Therefore I bought 10 meters of small-mashet fence.
I placed it where I wanted it to be and attached it to the ground with sticks. That way I could see how much place she got and think of how to continue with the making of her enclosed field.

It will be a lot steadier with boards and if I make a gate, it will be better for me and she gets more space. I plan to use some of these.

First I have to get rid of the nails, so I will use my old reliable tools.

Clever solution with the iron sticks holding the fence.

#4 Thank you.
I couldn't believe it was enough to held her there, but I let her out and yet she hasn't harmed the fence.
I like it, not to have her in a leash. It has been so easy just open a door.
Now I am waiting for our son to Help me drill holes in the ground.

Now I have measured where the poles are to be placed in the ground.

Are the poles to make a permanent fence?

#7 Yes. I want it to be useful in more than one way.

Where the buckets stand, the poles will be.
Olle is going to drill the holes.

According to my (expensive) dictonary it maybe is an auger he is using.
Is here anybody who can tell me if it is the right word for it?

If the Swedish word for it is "navare" then yes. It can also be called a drill, I think.
#12 Thank you. I am not sure what is the right word in Swedish. We just say it is a drill to make holes in the soil.

She appreciates getting out whenever she wants and I appreciate not having her on a leash especially when it is dark outside.
Here I've gotten fastening boards at the bottom.

Here will be a gate and next to the terrace there will be standing boards.

Awesome! I like seeing the updates. Keep 'em coming
#17 Thank you. I like it too.
I have a lot of boards left with nails. To use them (the boards) I have to remove the nails and it takes some time.

On this side there will also be some standing boards closest to the terrace.

What breed is Oni?
She is a Rottweiler. Do you know anything about Rottweilers? She is our second one. The dog we had before her was a Rottweiler too.

No, I don't know anything about dogs tbh haha. I've never had a dog, it hasn't ever worked with our lives. And now both me and my partner works too much. I do know they need looooooooooots of time though, that's about it
No rain, so I could continue with the work with this.
I started fixing the net here.

I don't know how high dogs can jump (I only have cats and they can jump super high haha), but if Oni tried, could she jump over the "fence"? I've heard a lot of dogs stays inside the fence anyway because they know they aren't allowed to go outside of it.
She has never jumped so high, but I had a dog earlier who was a crossbreed between Smålandsstövare and Labrador and she could jump high, so I will made another level of boards around it all. you never know what a male dog can do if he wants to have some fun.

Okay, I see.
It's not easy to keep the net tense and smooth, when you're alone in work, so I put it a little loose with cramps to take a bit of it in order to get it pretty smoothly.

I have arrived at the gatehole. Some hard parts remain.

How long do you expert to keep the dog when it starts to dig? :-)
Best regards, Niklas 🎈
She didn't like the first try.
She tried here to see if it was easier.

It wasn't better, so she left it and think about if there is a better way to solve this problem.

Leia, it saves a lot of worries. Good to have. We have net around the whole garden, but this is so easy many times.

I have a tiny chihuahua who will get through anything, we have to keep a good eye on her or keep her on a leash, something like this would be great for me.

What a clever build! I think my family should do this in our yard, but for 6 dogs it would have to be quite big haha.

#48 Yes, they definitely are. I would prefer having tops 3 though. And they're pretty big dogs aswell, all but 2.
